Fundraising.
A secondary role of the PLG is to raise funds for much needed but unfunded equipment.
Latest Update
The local Committee in Waverley have been fantastic in funding the purchase of a vaccine fridge and a wheelchair with £964. Some money was left over which has gone towards a water cooler for the surgery. Specifically this funding came from Pat Frost’s allocation and we are very grateful for the help.

Last Update
We would like to thank, both the Lions Club of Farnham and The Hedgehogs very much in deed for the funding given to the Downing Street Patient Liaison Group for the purchase of equipment in the surgery.
£1,700.00 was raised and a 24hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor and a new ECG machine that links directly into the patient record, have been purchased with the money.
Current Projects
We will be organising a walk to raise money for a new auto check in screen. News of this will be posted here and in reception.
A current project is to raise funds in order to buy two raised chairs for the comfort of patients in the waiting room. A collection bottle has been placed in reception for any spare change to help this project on its way. Other items that have been idientified for future fund raising initiatives include a new vaccine fridge and a wheel chair for the waiting room area.
Is there something lacking in the surgery that you feel would be of benefit to all?
As with our Projects Page we will update all our fundraising initiatives on this website.
Please feel free to provide feedback and ideas.
